I am sure you have all read a blog, but have you written one before? What is your experience with and what are your impressions of blogging? How does it feel to be the person behind the blog?
I have only read one blog ever so I don't really know what they are about or what people use them for. When I was making this site on Blogger I stumbled across a blog that I had done for one of my classes in 2010 that I had totally forgot I had even done and don't even remeber what class it was for, so that is my only experiece I have had with blogging before. My impression of blogging is that it is kind of like an online diary, except for the fact that instead of you, the writer, being the only on to see the contents, anyone can see what you are writing about. I have seen movies in which the characters blog, for example, in Julie and Julia, where the main character creates a blog about her cooking adventures and mishaps. In the movies their blogs always seem to be about something that the character is passionate about or some adventure that they are taking. It feels weird to be the one behind the blog because I'm not used to writing about myself and having other people read it. I hope that as the quarter progresses I become more comfortable with this style of writing.
